The database contains information about literature on Finno-Ugric ethnography and folklore acquired by the Academic Library of Tallinn University – scientific publications, articles from periodicals and collections). Newspaper material has not been included. The database was created in 1997, annual indexes were issued in parallel to the database.
Annual indexes covering 1972-2003 have been published with the following titles:
- Finno-Ugric ethnography and folklore : annotated list of literature, 1972 … 1992. Tallinn : Estonian Academy of Sciences, 1973-1993.
- Finno-Ugric ethnography and folkore : bibliography, 1993 … 2003. Tallinn : Publishing House of the Academy of Sciences, 1994-2004.
