Database of Estonian Articles ISE

The Database of Estonian Articles Index Scriptorum Estoniae (ISE) is a dataset compiled by major Estonian libraries and contains information on articles in the Estonian language and on issues related to Estonia that have been published in Estonia or abroad on paper or online.

The database is compiled mostly on the basis of newspapers, journals, article collections and serials published in Estonia. ISE also describes articles about Estonia that have been issued in foreign publications, and articles by Estonian authors that have been published abroad (Estonica), including articles by expatriate Estonians or on Estonian Diaspora that have been published in expatriate Estonian newspapers.

The database contains about 2 million article records, most of them from the period 1993-2016.

For pulling the metadata of one particular publication if the record number of the system is known.
